Another chill day of riding mountain bikes in Bentonville, Arkansas. Slaughter Pen Trail System is one of the most amazing places mountain biking that you can imagine. It starts in the middle of town and goes on forever.
A beautiful afternoon mountain bike ride in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Bella Vista and Lake Bella Vista is just a few stoplights north of Bentonville. It's the home of the Back 40 Loop and something like ten billion miles of connecting trails.
I've had a couple questions lately about which gear that I use to film for this little mountain bike channel. So, pour ourselves a dram of a nice peaty islay scotch, and talk about gear. We will go over cameras, audio recorders, and the hardware that I use once its all "in the can" (that's film talk, y'all).
The trails have not been dry enough to ride in quite a while. I am getting antsy. So, in an attempt to spend a little time with the Giant Trance Advanced, I've decided to take some photographs of it. Close up macro photographs using an adaptor for my 50mm Nikon lens.
Okay, here's the deal. One of the things that I feel makes my manuals on the mountain bike not as long as they could be is the fear of looping out. Basically, of falling off the back of the bike on to my butt. Well, today I aim to fix that with a little exposure therapy.
Sedona, Arizona's Templeton and Easy Breezy trails are a blast to ride on the mountain bike. They are not difficult trails but still have some very challenging sections that are fun to session.
Plus, I also had a little drone drama with the Mavic Air. But more about that in the video.

Sedona, AZ is just a dream come true when it comes to mountain biking. Serene and beautiful with countless miles of trails. In this video I'm riding the Slim Shady Trail. A trail that is a blast to ride in whatever direction you want to go.
How does the manual machine translate to the trail... not very well. It's fun and it does help with practicing balance, but it doesn't make one a manual master right away.
It’s colder, the days are way shorter, and I’m not able to get out on the trail as much as I’d like. So that means dragging the trainer out of the closet. It’s not my favorite, but with these few tips I’ll show you how to make it a little better.
The Angel Fire Bike Park in New Mexico is beautiful and this trail was the highlight of the mountain for me.

I had seen a bunch of reviews on the new GoPro Hero 7 Black. I thought it was going to awesome right out of the box, but it wasn't. It took some trial and error and a trip to Angel Fire Mountain Bike Park in New Mexico to do some end of season downhill riding before I really figured out that I love it.
